Room hire at The Bread & Roses

The Bread and Roses is the most versatile pub in Clapham and is therefore ideally equipped to provide informal yet efficient conference facilities. We can provide refreshments all day, as well as lunch from our extensive menu. We have two function rooms available for hire.

The Rose Room

Situated on the first floor, this large high ceiling room with floor to ceiling sash windows is a beautiful and versatile venue. The minimal decor lends itself to numerous types of events from daytime conferences, casual parties and grand events such as wedding receptions.

• The room has its own private bar and toilets on the same floor
• The room holds 80 people standing, or 50 seated in comfort
• The room is available for hire from 9.30am and the license is until 11.30pm (Monday to Thursday), 12.30am (Friday & Saturday) and 10.30pm Sunday
• The room has its own sound system which an iPod/MP3 can be plugged into or you can play CD's
• The room also has a PA, Decks and DJ's all for hire.

The Garden Room

Room hire for parties, meetings and conferences

The second function room available is the garden room. This room is located on the ground floor at the rear of the pub. This room is a massive conservatory which looks into the beer garden. If you decide to hire this room, you have an advantage of having the beer garden for private use!

• You will be using the main bar and toilets on the ground floor
• The room holds 60 people standing, or 40 seated in comfort
• The room is available for hire from 9.30am and the license is until 11.30pm (Monday to Thursday), 12.30am (Friday & Saturday) and 10.30pm Sunday
• The room has its own sound system which an I pod/MP3 can be plugged into or you can play CD's
• The room also has a PA, Decks and DJ's all for hire
• This room includes the beer garden for private use.

We can provide refreshments in the rooms all day as well as lunch from our bar menu or a Hot or Cold Buffet to suit.
