We will be reopening Mon 12th April and we can 't wait to welcome you back! Book a table to avoid disappointment.
We are delighted to announce that we will be reopening on Wednesday 9th December from 4pm. We are working hard to get everything in place under the new Tier 2 restrictions which we shall be adhering to as expected.
We will be welcoming groups of up to six from different households to come and enjoy drinks and some food in either front of back beer gardens. Heated tables are limited so we recommend booking ahead of time but otherwise we have plenty more tables we can reserve for you. We will have some delicious winter warmers to keep you warm outside, including mulled wine, hot cider and a creamy baileys coffee and we will have our full range of drinks on offer too. For those from the same household we have plenty more space inside, so you can get cosy by one of our two Christmas Tree’s.
We’re sure the question on everyone’s mind is what is our ‘Substantial Meal’ Well we have an exciting new catering company taking over our kitchen, they specialise in Corn Dogs which are pretty much the same size as a large Scotch Egg and affordable too at just £3.50 on selected Corn Dogs. There will of course be other items on the menu if you wish to order more. Check out the company ‘Two Dogs Down’ on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/twodogsldn/ We'll have the menu up on the website soon!!
For all theatre ticket holders wising to eat with us and spend sometime socialising in the pub before the show, please do book a table and specify you are coming to see a performance.
Look forward to seeing you all next week and throughout December for some much needed Christmas cheer.
We are delighted to announce we will be reopening the pub doors on July 4th and we are so looking forward to welcoming you all back. We of course will be complying with all the new social distancing guidelines laid out by the government to ensure we can do as much as we can to keep our staff and customers safe. We also ask that all customers help us to keep themselves and our staff safe by following these social distancing rules that have been put in place.
Furthermore we will provide hand sanitisers dispensers at the entrance and exit points as well as clearly marked social distancing signage and they’ll be a one way system in place. Ultimately we want to protect our customers and staff but also we encourage our customers to enjoy themselves as we all embark on the new normal. We will also be offering a take away service on all food and drinks.
There is plenty of space inside and out here at The Bread and Roses so we hope this will bring some comfort to our customers, as you venture out to the pub for the first time in over three months. We have two beer gardens front and rear and plenty of seating inside, all at a comfortable distance to ensure everyone feels safe and at ease and are able to enjoy themselves.
To ensure the safety of our staff and customers and following government guidelines we will only be operating table service. We will still be offering a vast quality range of drinks to choose from all at much more reasonable prices than you’ll find elsewhere in Clapham! Our full drinks menu can be found on our website. Also don’t forget our HAPPY HOUR which will still be running Mon – Fri 4pm-7pm.
Unfortunately we will have to wait until our live music and theatre program can resume, but until then please come and enjoy a drink in our unique and friendly pub. Whether it’s basking in the sunshine in the beer garden with members of your household or bubble or settling in to one of the comfy armchairs for a quiet pint, we very much look forward to welcoming you back.
