2-4 July at 7.30pm
A one woman play about the trials and tribulations of a teenage schizophrenic in the twenty first century. Jenny is an eighteen year old girl who worries about boys, sex and the beast that she sees. This play follows Jenny through her journey to try and conquer her fears and tell her mother about the things she sees, but as most people do - Jenny gets distracted.

Now I Am Alone

Shakespeare's outsiders gather in one play. The exiled king, the fool, the refugee, the social outcast - they all have something to say about society and human nature. The show tells the story of these people and proffers up their unique viewpoint on life, through humour, irony and anguish, and as a result suggests the viewpoint of Shakespeare himself.

Bubble & Squeak Collective kick off our theatre programme this week with Unapologetic, a feast of exciting scenes and performances from published plays and new writing. One night only on June 26th.

From Tuesday 27th June to Saturday 1st July JamesArt Productions return to our theatre with their new production Alice.

Can you truly ever understand madness and what makes a person ‘mad’? Alice is a production that aims to explore the theme of mental health through an adaptation of a children’s book but for an adult audience. The piece uses Lewis Caroll’s absurdism and surrealism to discuss and educate about the way in which mental health problems may present themselves and whether a person who is deemed ‘crazy’ is truly understood by doctors and society. The piece contains some masked political comments but in a manner which is light hearted at times and gruelling at others. BOOK NOW!
